Lakes Rally 2018 Renamed
David Bell and Wayne Rawlinson have today paid honour to our late friend and UW Distributor and Senior Team Leader Jean Walsh, who passed away on 18th August 2018.
Jean was a great part of the purple army offering help and support to many.
To show our appreciation to Jean, Founder and President of the UW MINI Owners Club David Bell has today announced the Lake District rally (on Sunday 21st October), now formerly known as The Lakes Rally 2018, will be renamed in Jeans honour.
The Lake District rally will now be named the “Jean Walsh Memorial Lakes Rally 2018″.
Following Jeans passing , many have wished to pass on their thoughts to a treasured UW friend.

Jean was a staunch supporter of the MINI Owners Club events and joined us whenever she could. We will remember her. See you at the finish Jean ?

Jean achieved many things in our area and helped put Kendal firmly on the UW map. Jean was a fun loving soul and lived life to the full enjoying many a rally.Go that extra mile in your life and for others. You never know what’s round the corner. In loving memory of our lovely Jean Walsh, we will raise a glass at the finish line in true Jean Walsh style. Next time you have a glass in your hand, raise it high and remember her fondly.
