The Clerk of the Course Wayne Rawlinson and the Assistant CofC Angela Rawlinson have designed a fantastic route, some of which will put the drivers to the test! We can assure you, you will not be disappointed.
Lakes, meres, tarns or waters, the Lake District has plenty of features to charm you all.
Eyes peeled whilst traveling the winding, narrow countryside roads that are high in the sky or even around the low-lying waters that are half-covered by Autumn leaves will have you coming back for more. Despite the relaxing countryside feeling, driving ‘on the wrong side’ on the roads that many would consider too narrow feels like an adventure whilst keeping an eye out for that tourist bus or even a Golden Eagle.
The Lake District has so many features to charm you with; like those small, adorable villages standing by the lakes or the stone walls that go on for miles and miles up on the mountainside. It’s a poet’s paradise with such changing scenery, whether it’s wet or sunny, the shadows change everything. By the end of this exciting adventure your stories will be personal and very different from everyone else’s and it’s ALL in aid of the UW Nominated Charity, Plastic Oceans.
We will be limited to 25 cars on this Rally, so its first come first served. Max number of 25 MINIS & 55 people so book early.
We will need to know the number of people in the car, to enable us to book the Sunday roast dinner.
As always, our rally is in aid of the UW Nominated Charity “Plastic Oceans” Entry is Free, but we encourage entrants to gather a minimum £100 that we can donate to our charity PLASTIC OCEANS (extra donations always welcome).
