Dear Visitors,
There is nothing we would like more than to welcome you back to our production locations soon. Unfortunately, the current situation with the COVID-19 pandemic still does not allow us to share the fascination of our production with you live, in person. Keeping our guests and employees safe remains our top priority.
We are taking advantage of the current break to develop exciting new topics and insights into our production for you. For this reason, we are not currently offering plant tours at all our production locations.
At the present time, it is possible to experience the fascination of production at BMW Group Plant Munich. You will find all the information you need here. We are working tirelessly to gradually get plant tours up and running again at our other locations as well.
About the Event
This is our 17th UW MINI Owners Club Factory Tour
To give you an idea of the proceedings, here is a typical day on the Factory Tour but may be subject to change.
At 09:45am we traditionally meet up at MINI Plant Oxford, Sandy Lane into Tucker Road, OX4 6NL Factory Tour Reception (follow the signs).
The tour will last about 2½ hrs so expect to depart at 12:45ish, depending on how many questions you ask on the tour!
On arriving at the Reception road, please try to park (in the extensive park area) all together so we make a good show of our MINIS
We then assemble across the road in reception, sign in & register, browse the Factory Shop ! get introduced to our guide and off we go.
After the tour we recommend using The Beefeater at Longwall (approx 1.2 miles / 4 mins from MINI Factory for lunch.
